Companies today employ a number of methods to strike an appropriate balance between ease of use for the mobile worker and the cost of using international mobile network services. A survey of more than 200 midmarket and enterprise companies revealed modifying mobile employees’ usage behavior as the primary cost-management method employed. Despite some measure of economic success, this strategy has some unfortunate consequences.
